Remc follows the Mennonite Confession of Faith (1995)
1. God
We believe in the one true God, the source of all life, who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.Wir glauben an den einen wahren Gott, die Quelle allen Lebens, der ewig als Vater, Sohn und Heiliger Geist existiert.
2. Jesus Christ
We believe in Jesus Christ, the Word of God become flesh, who is the Savior of the world.
Wir glauben an Jesus Christus, das fleischgewordene Wort Gottes, der der Erlöser der Welt ist.
3. Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the eternal Spirit of God, who empowers believers and the church.
Wir glauben an den Heiligen Geist, den ewigen Geist Gottes, der Gläubige und die Gemeinde befähigt.
4. Scripture
We believe that all Scripture is inspired by God and is the authoritative guide for faith and life.

5. Creation and Divine Providence
We believe that God created and sustains the universe and all living things.

6. The Church of Jesus Christ
We believe the church is the body of Christ, called to follow Jesus in all of life.

7. Salvation
We believe that God offers salvation through Jesus Christ to all people by grace through faith.

8. The Church in Mission
We believe the church is sent by Christ to make disciples and to be a witness in the world.

9. Baptism
We believe that believers are to be baptized upon confession of faith as a sign of new life in Christ.

We believe in commemorating Christ’s death through the Lord’s Supper in the church.

We believe the church must lovingly correct members who persist in sin.

We believe in the unity of all believers and the need for interdependence.

14. Discipleship and the Christian Life
We believe that following Jesus means daily discipleship and faithfulness.

We believe God calls and gifts people in the church for leadership and ministry.

We believe the church must seek order, accountability, and unity in Christ.

We believe baptism is for believers and is done in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

18. Christian Spirituality
We believe that spiritual maturity comes from living by the Spirit, grounded in Scripture.

19. Family, Singleness, and Marriage
We believe God intends marriage to be between one man and one woman.

We believe in speaking truth and avoiding oaths, trusting in God’s justice.

We believe that all we have belongs to God and must be used to serve others.

22. Peace, Justice, and Nonresistance
We believe in the way of peace and nonviolence, following the example of Jesus.

23. The Church’s Relation to Government and Society
We believe the church must respect governments but obey God above all.
Wir glauben, dass die Gemeinde die Regierung respektieren soll, aber Gott über allem gehorcht.
24. The Reign of God
We believe in the final victory of Christ, who will reign in a new heaven and new earth.
